Francis, could you do this since this is CN stuff?

Ok, so I'm guessing we want the button back (I removed it), and it's one way since selecting folders does not correspond to anyhthing in the views.

It it possible at all to use link-with-editor since we are not using editors, only views, the MessageView?.

I actually don't think we should do this. The button on the navigator is for linking with an editor, and the messages are not really in editors.
But more importantly, to implement this will require using a fairly rarely used feature of the CNF that customizes this linking (normally the link with editor just works out of the box). So not only are we adding one more thing to the app, it's something that almost no one is really going to use.
